A great Silk Spinning Workshop

Our "Wonder of Silk" day continued with a fantastic hands on, silk spinning workshop lead by Sue Hiley Harris.

Sue demonstrated very ably, different techniques for spinning with silk tops, silk caps and hankies and silk noils. Our spinners and visiting spinners from neighbouring Gwent and Brecknock Guilds had a lot of fun trying their hand with these. We also enjoyed spending some of our pennies on the lovely range of silk fibres that Sue had brought along for us to try.
