The biennial National Exhibition of Spinning Weaving and Dyeing by the Association of Guilds of Weaving Spinning and Dyeing was held at Hay Castle in Hay on Wye in October 2024.
We were thrilled that our collaborative piece "The Flowers of Wales", was selected for inclusion as an exhibit and to see it hanging alongside so many amazing and insprational samples of work from Guilds right across the UK. Hay Castle provided a stunning backdrop for the wonderful display.
Our Secretary Sue Ballantine played an important role in the exhibition organisation, working alongside members from other neighbouring guilds to help stage and run the exhibition. Well done Sue!
Some of our other Guild members were also pleased to play an active role at the exhibition, providing stewarding duties and spinning and weaving demonstations.
Thank you to everyone for their hard work and also to members who came to support us. Lovely to see former members Jane, Carey, Judith and Belle too.
